Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a personal development concept and psychotherapy regime created in the 1970s. It seeks to explore the connection pathway linking the neurological processes, behavioural patterns and language dynamics to achieve specific goals in life. Through NLP training, teachers and teaching support staff can learn how to manage their thoughts and emotions and how to help others to do the same. In a broad sense, this training gives us a unique opportunity to understand how we code our experiences in life and attach a meaning to them
